Hi, new to the forum and new to growing bananas! I do grow lemons, cherry tree and coffee trees in pots. what is a good size pot for my truly tiny banana plant? I have 2 of them. thanks so much and look forward to learning more!
also want to ask, what is a good fertilizer to use on them, and how often? sorry, wont use the "banana guys" next time. just a bit excited!Last edited by pats : 05-23-2020 at 04:38 PM. |

Banana guys are good! No the bigger the better. So I would get a 6-8 gallon pot and put casters on the bottom ![]() ![]() ![]() |

And you could do some hugleculture. Spelled wrong? And put in logs or stocks in the bottom. And kitchen scraps\ fruit feelings banana peels, ANYTHING. You can use any fertilizer. Fertilize in small doses every couple weeks
