Arrow newbie needs help

Hello folks,
Recently planted my first 3 in large mats of cactus mix and some other amendments. They were doing fine at first, then the new leaves started getting lighter green, and then a damaged leaf came out and it looked like maybe my hand pressure caused it a couple weeks earlier when I planted it. The marks lined up with my hand exactly. I now see a mark on the other 2 plants as the leaf spike is now emerging. I failed to do my research and did not put some ammonium sulfate on until just a few days ago. I put some chicken manure pellets on top when they were first planted and have mixed some organic fertilizer into the water a couple times. The ammonium sulfate seems to have perked them up a little. I am not sure of my next step.
Thanks for all your help
