This subgroup is a good choice for most growers because it's very hardy and has decent cold tolerances.

I prefer the variegation of the non dwarf.

Beautiful! Does the dwarf type and tall type of variegations hold true for all talls and dwarfs? Does either ever make a third type of variegation without hybridization?

I don't understand the first question. And for the second question I've only observed two types of variegation with Pisang Awak, the dwarf type and the non dwarf type but there's no reason there can't be other variations.

If anyone isn't aware of the differences just ask and I'll post some photos. I've got a plant that's going to have it's entire pseudostem removed and it'll be an easy opportunity to take some good photos.
