Unfortunately in Sacramento we're short on ideal microclimate spots for bananas so I'm limited on type & quantity I can plant.

What kind of figs do you have?

So far we've just got Mission & Panache, plus some "feral" lousy tasting 2-year old fig seedlings that I'm planning on using for grafting rootstock.

plants big enough to put directly in the ground.. seems like a cost efficient way to start or expand your collection if you live in southern cali... too bad no one in my area is doing this.
