It's been in the ground for nearly 22 months and had to endure the arctic blast we had last winter. I kept a plastic trash bag over it at night during the cold snap and it still lost almost all it's leaves. It has about 3 feet of super stout pseudo stem and about 10 pups. I have removed all the pups once already this year so they are all about 5" tall right now.
