Yes, from a TC it took 4 years from planting to harvest. Like I said, it was in a bad spot, planted in the same hole as a fast-growing, vigorous Pisang Awak variety that was thought to be Mona Lisa (and wasn't). So it was shaded and competing for water and nutrients with it. And, as you know, this ain't the tropics here in CA! But I need to find a better spot for it and then see how it performs.

This harvest of 3640 is way better than the last one. I think I'm going to have to update my taste report. This plant gets to stay in the yard. I very happy to keep it since its a great plant.

That is good to hear, especially when you take into consideration that the bunch was maturing over the colder winter month.

Biggest bunch of bananas produced in my yard so far, 67 lb. of "Ice Cream Namwah".

Due to the severe drought this bunch was much smaller than expected.



Hopefully when I harvest these Rhino Horns they'll average at least 3 lb. each. They're already 21"-22" in length.
