Default Tired of Throwing Rhino Horns Away

This photo is just an example of what I have to deal with. All of the white nodules are new plants. Each of my Rhino Horns produce gazillions of new plants. Each Rhino Horn seems to do this and I don't know why. I just stuck a bunch in the ground but any more I get will have to go in the garbage or be given to people. Never seen such a prolific plant. I can't even sell them fast enough.

I'm new to banana culture, and had to look up your plant. What are the 'rhino horns' that you're being flooded with? Are these actually pups? How are they, relative to 'regular' banana pups?
Thanks!

Rhino horn is the variety and it is being very prolific in producing pups...

BB...I wonder how they'd like a sojourn in the wilds of West Virginia.

When I grew Rhino Horn, the pups had pups, and those pups had pups before any of the were more than a few inches tall.

Pitangadiego is right! Mine pups a lot also! I keep killing them all off to get some size to the plant and it keeps popping them out.

Bryce - - someone on another banana chat site is looking for pups of the plantain that you're throwing away. May I give them your email address to contact you? If so, please send me a pm with your email address.
