Very cool baddasss It's probably gonna have a good time this winter under that new Apollo setup. Will be interested to see update before spring. Keep it up man.

It's choking. It's not going to emerge much more. The bracts are already starting to open.

ill just cut some petioles off and slice the pstem a bit

Nothing. That's just the way it's going to be. You'll probably still get fruit. They'll just be a little squashed. Trying to do something to improve the situation will almost certainly make it worse.

I cut off the top 2 petioles and sliced them down the side a bit

Good idea. This time of year the plant is slowing down from the cooler temperatures. Have low expectations and hope they are exceeded.
