Default Supposed FHIA-01 Goldfinger

This poor guy has been trying to get going for about 3 months now. It's grown more leaves that this, maybe about 8 or 9 in three months. It was a peasy little tissue culture but hey so was Lou. Maybe I should have just slammed it in the ground right off the rip. I'll stick with it because it's not much of a bother but am wondering if this thing will actually take off at some point.

This has been a great learning year for me and my wife. I appreciate you guys putting up with my sometimes ignorant questions and giddy proud papa moments.

Also I have a cheap Outsunny 6' x 6' Greenhouse coming. Hope to have some fun with that.

If those are leaves trimed from the plant that I see inside the pot, that could be part of your problem. Do not remove any green portions of the plant. Leaves are like solar panels; each provides energy. As long as they are green they are helpful.

those leaves would trash out and seemed to clog up the works as well. It's really the only plant back there that isn't doing really well. We'll see what the future brings

well, you are not alone!. I bought several TC varieties just under 1.5 years ago, several are fruiting but the "gold finger" and the "Hua Moa" were the slowest growers. While a Raja puri and Dwarf namwa are full heights and fruiting the gold finger has only a 3 ft tall pstem still. It is showing signs of starting to take off normally now but def a slow starter

That's cool to know. Thanks. I am a rookie so I may not be the best keeper. We'll see how it goes
