Thanks guys.Yea i think it is man made we moved here last year just cos it has a stream in the garden although it was a mess when we moved in.I live in england my friend.I started gardening this year really .A friend of mine showed me a pic of his basjoo i couldnt belive nanas grow in the uk and loved them so im starting a collection so far i have a basjoo,ensetta ,valutina.Also iv just got some seeds .cheesmani and sikkimensis.Can you tell me if thay are very hard to germinate plz thanx ..daz

Someone will answer you for sure. I am not in for growing banana seeds.
I'd like bananas that will fruit in a year or two although quiet expesive.

You would get a lot better exposure to the seed experts posting that very question in a new thread in the seed germination forum:
