I added Rajapuri and a Dwarf Namwa this year to my patch so following your thread to see how your stuff grows. I've got Tall Namwas which have been very good to me but those things are tall, tough to manage, and I'm getting older and wobbly on the ladder!

have put one thru the winter yet? cant find to much on the robusta except for it is a cavendish subgroup.

I don't know if this is 100% musa robusta. This was given to me by a friend from Madeira Island that told me this was from the first bananatrees planted there on 1500 years. This was brought from Cape verde or Brazil... they don't know for shure. My friend study it and told me the plant more near it seems to be Musa Robusta. This is a plant very diferent from Dwarf Cavendish...
