Just a few bunches this summer

It's been a slow summer for my banana garden due to the removal of several almost ready to flower plants and stands last year and the fact that I didn't feed much last year. Usually right now I'd have around 6-10 bunches hanging but I only have 3 now. I'll probably get quite a few flowers this winter if the weather isn't too horrid.

All pics were taken today.

A really nice looking Pisang Klotek bunch

A small Raja Puri bunch

And my first FHIA 18 is coming along nicely.

Nice pictures, and Congrats on the bunches you do have! I know how you feel. In the last year I've removed several plants with fruit due to the winter we had. I've also moved three different mats, and moved one twice. Hope I don't come up with any more ideas on how to tweak the yard any time soon!

Looking pretty awesome! I've only had Manzano, Goldfinger and Brazilian Red so far, and that's probably because of our extremely cool summer this year.

How do you like FHIA bananas? I mean, FHIA varieties usually produce lots of bananas, but are they tastier than more commonly grown varieties?

This my first bunch of any FHIA nanas. The plant is nice looking and the bunch looks good so far, that's about all I can tell ya.
