Default Flower without leaves

I know this has been brought up before, but I cannot find the post. My Ice Cream/Orinoco sent up a flag leaf right before our first freeze. Now that it has warmed up, there are no green leaves on the pseudo stem, but the flower has come out and I see 2 - maybe 3 hands. Can this survive/ripen without any green?

Not the best situation, but you have nothing to lose in just letting nature take its course and see what happens. Might turn out alright. Or you can cut them off now, get a guaranteed nothing.

If there are smaller pups growing then maybe the green leaves of these will help feed the leafless stem.
