Party Bananas are cool

I love bananas, and I know you all do to, so lets discuss. We should expound on our emotions to reveal the depths of our love for this potassium rich fruit.

Mine haven't produced fruit yet, but I am anxiously awaiting the day. Getting bored with regular store bananas, but I still eat quite a few each week.

I must admit that I never really liked eating bananas until about a year ago. I've always liked to grow them though. I think it stemmed back to when I was younger and didn't like the texture of a well ripened banana. Now, I eat bananas each week but like them firm with a bit of green still at the top of the stem. I want to try some Veinte Cohol or Pisang bananas...you know the small, melt in your mouth kind.

I'm so hungry for bananas right now. I never had anything but store bought chiquitas. Next summer will the 4th summer for my ice cream & double mahoi & I'm praying that at least ONE will flower & fruit.
Is there really a big difference between the chiquita & ice cream? I keep hearing that it's the BEST tasting.
