Default Back to bananas

Hey everyone. it's been a busy few years. I have been focusing on other plants like palms, citrus lychee, longan. This winter was one of the worst in 40 years. I lost almost everything in my greenhouse after I re built it Oct. Adding and extra 5 feet in length and 3 feet taller. One foot wider. I did not take into fact how much more heat I would need. There is a dwarf cavendish in the ground that died back as well as the Apple banana. We will see if they push any pups up this spring.

I did over winter indoors.. my big potted apple banana, a potted DC and what was labeled as Ice cream last year, I bet it will be a namwah if it ever flowers. I am still happy with them. Here's to a great 2026.
