Mislabled Banana
This bunch came from a tray of bananas that I bought from Agristarts labeled as Misi Luki. Thus far it is the only bunch from that tray that is not a Mysore type of banana. I'm kinda thinking it was some kind of hawaiian out of the Mai'a Maoili subgroup. Thus far I have found 3 platano burro bunches mixed in with a tray of Dwarf Namwah. Almost the entire second tray of Dwarf Namwahs sported tall

I'll also add that the plant is actually fairly short, I cut the bunch off standing flat on the ground so at most the top of the bunch was 8 feet high.

Hate it when that happens.. it causes a lot of problems and confusion for not only yourself but anyone you gave pups of the plant to, and so forth. This puts the entire nomenclature at disadvantage.

It does not look like a Maoli, but its a little hard to tell what it is exactly. Do you have any photos of the bunch on the plant, and any with the male bud intact, or photos of the rest of the plant?
