The Planting Guides for banana plants
Hello fellow members. I"m a Farmer-Researcher. Banana plants are prevail here in my country Philippines.. I want to know more about this plant. How deep is the hole you are going to place the plant, planting distance between plants, the initial fertilization protocol,m what are the pest and diseases to avoid...etc.

Welcome aboard . It would probably be best for you to start your research by searching some of the older posts here. Then you can be more specific with your questions. For example what size and variety are the bananas you plan on growing? You'll have no trouble seeing the proper depth when you get your plants. Spacing will also depend on variety but I think a "standard" answer would be around 6 feet. Hopefully some more experienced growers will comment shortly.
