Hello everyone ! Glad to see a site for banana lovers.I have 4 plants that I purchased this year.I want to place post around them, staple clear plastic, cover the top with cotton duct to allow heat release on sunny days. This is my winter over experiment????? I plant to study.and learn from you all.I want to get some different types growing," red " etc. I will only be online on weekends...most often. Thanks and may your nanners never turn black!

You have a good location for nanners in southern alabama. Here in central Ohio we have about a six month season with a lot of work taking the plants in winter, over wintering then bringing them back out in the spring. Well worth it.
