Welcome! When my greenhouse gets that hot or near it, I water once to twice a day. As for getting bananas good and cheap, from my limited experience, the two best routes are nurseries like Florida Hill or Wellspring Gardens, or people online here with some pups available.

Great luck to you on your nanners. With your zone I'm guessing you either overwinter yours well or grow them in a greenhouse, yes? If you're looking for more good ideas on new varieties to get, the best thing to boil down is the climate you are growing your bananas in. Do they need to be short, need to tolerate cool or hot summers, need to tolerate cold/frost, need quick ripening, etc.
