Default Hey everyone
Hello everyone. I am a fairly new to banana trees. I only started raising some palm trees last year. I have since decided to spend a small fortune turning my backyard into my on personal Margaritaville. I wanted that tropical feel so Musa basjoo was my first banana choice for this NW Alabama (7b) parrotthead/cowboy. It's a cowboy in the jungle kinda theme. I think I may have gotten over my head. I had my back yard bulldozed off 100 X 50 feet and have began constructing a 12 x 100 2 tier flower bed for my 4 Windmill palms, 6 bananas, 2 Castor bean plants and 25 elephant ears. I'm not finished yet. I visited this sight several times looking for info until it finally told me I had to become a member. So, here I am...I've gotta question but I will save it for another post.
