I have noticed they are selling several different varieties at Lowe's / Home Depot lately, even a couple non DC plants at Walmart... Not sure if they are what they say, but had them. They even had Hua Moa at Home Depot here in Palm Bay a couple months ago.

What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more. |

Thanks to all the people that contacted me offering the bananas I was looking for as well as their expertise. You all are a great group. In the end I was contacted by someone local who offered me what I was looking for as well as a couple I didn't even ask for so now I have a lot of holes to dig!

Re: Hello from Brevard county Florida
I live in Satellite and have 4 different varieties right now including dwarf plantains which I got from Homestead banana guy. I also bought fertilizer from him and it has made my leaves get really big. I had two bunches last fall but no new blooms yet. Good luck growing bananas.
