I am currently in the process of buying trays and pallets of wholesale plants and other products to sell next spring. My thought is that bananas and perhaps other plants will be sold at a discount to bananas.org members. When I have that working (months away) I'll post something about it on bananas.org. From the business point of view, note that Ae Ae's are a good product but pale in comparison to several other fruits -- for example, a high-quality low-chill Persimmon tree.

If you are an established distributor of nursery stock and have solid account references with wholesalers, you can talk directly firms that buy and sell plants as commodities. From there, the view is quite different.
