I agree, John. It was my understanding, that 'cigar' leaf refers to the new emerging leaves that are still rolled up. Your plant is definitely not fruiting...far from it by the looks of it. It looks very healthy, though, so just keep doing what you're doing!

As for the leaf at the bottom, it's totally normal for the bottom leaf or two on plants to be turning yellow/brown and dying. As they put on new leaves, the old leaves turn brown and fall off. This is why older plants tend to have only large mature leaves at the top. Nothing to worry about...when it gets brown/dried up just cut it off at the base with scissors or a sharp knife.
