1. Coachella Valley. To avoid being shot, stay in the car and a good 50 feet away.

2. In San Diego county, you will not find orchards per say but large individual trees each bearing 1,000 to 5,000 fruits per year. Last Saturday I saw one in Fallbrook loaded with green fruits which should be ready to pick in a month.
