Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but this was written by Peter Ferrara, an associate law professor at George Mason University and published in the National Review (magazine) on Sept. 25, 2001, two weeks after the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. But is is an excellent piece. The way is is written, no one can complain the author is a bigotted isolationist, xenophobe or racist.
