Thanks Chong and yes, I read a few of Scot's posts

Hope we don't get confused or weird IMz.
Just moved from Southern California - Oxnard and now living in Seminole Fl ZONE: 10. Lived on Oahu for about 5 years, was stationed on the windward side and loved my time there. My landlady had about 30 Apple Banana trees in full bloom at any given time throughout the year. I adopted them as they adopted me.
So I found a few on Ebay and started it alllll over again. My neighbors say I enjoy working in my back yard. I feel the trees repay you with their growth from attentive care.
Came to this forum to find answers....but finding a lot more in past posts.
My main search is to find out how to properly remove pups for replanting. I tried the sharp knife, but guess I didn't get down low enough and watched them all pass

bummer.
So with your help, I'm confident we'll make this happen.
Also purchased a dwarf that was not properly tended too. She's a beauty now
