The flower is a beautiful maroon and the underside of the flower petals or whatever they are called are a beautiful dark red. I just don't know if that is what they are talking about. The description for mysore said the leaves have a pink tint on the underside of the leaves and I was thinking it meant banana tree leaves. sorry I sound so confused but I am.

Maybe they were meaning the leaves of the flower. Anyway, it is so pretty and I am really enjoying it and now it has fruit. Too cool! I'm so excited.
Oh and Paula, you ask how tall it was. The tip of the leaves are about 13 feet up but they could be a little higher becsue it is bending a tad because of the weight of the flower I guess. Anyway approx. 13 feet.
