Buzzwinder comes from an incident in a local bar one night, about one in the morning this guy comes walking in, he had obviously had several beverages that evening already, he ask a friend of mine who was tending behind the bar for a buzzwinder, perplexed by the name of this beverage she came and asked me and a few my of buddies if we knew what was in a buzzwinder, none of us had heard of it and she couldn't find it in her Bartenders friend mix drink book or the owners own rolodex file of special drinks, so totally mystified by the gentlemans request she returned to him and asked what was in a Buzzwinder? He promply got a huge smile on his face and said quite clearly
A Budwieser Please. Everyone got a big kick out of it , including the bartender, after that everytime I went into the Bar I aked for a Buzzwinder. I drink Bud Light, and it kinda stuck.
