Thank you for your kind advice Ali43. I'm usually ok with techy stuff and will often Google a means to solve these problems, but in this case the machinery tells me that the 'format' is wrong. I spent two hours Googling and trying to figure this out, but got nowhere - it's extremely frustrating. Converting a IMI 'photos' file to JPEG is not within the ability of the average banana plant lover, and every bit of advice I found referred to things my Macbook Pro and iPhone do not possess, or have a different name.
I can't figure out why it would be so difficult to just upload a photo - I manage it with just about every other site that has the option to upload pictures. It's genuinely pivotal here with queries of this nature, but unless you are techy enough to reduce file sizes and change formats you're sunk. The machinery here just obstinately tells you time after time that your format is wrong, with no helpful tips on how to resolve the issue. Eventually I gave up in sheer anger. It should not be like that. Thank you again though mate.
