how bout we just modify some of his suggestions. i watched the video basically to see how he mulched. i saw some interesting things. one really negative.

he about lost me when he called the banana a tree , then clarified it was not a tree.

then almost lost me when he said it was his first ever banana.

when he was talking about mulching, he finely chopping up a leaf. said he was doing so to let water/rain pass thru to the banana. i like to mulch light.

but then he takes the p-stem and cuts it down, splits it in half, into split logs approximately 4x10inches, and lays them down around the pups. your covering 40 square inches of soil from moisture.
