Could I also ask what soil you use, I've been recently advised the cactus and the citrus soil for the banana plant. Apparently banana plants need high acid level so you should use soil that has high pH level but not sure if that is true? I've attached both pictures.

I make my own mix's for my plants.
By making a mix you may custom add different ratios of ingredients to suit your tropical and non tropical plant needs.
An internet search keywords"best soilless mix" will give you a great idea of what you can put together for your tropical plants. Your banana plant will not be too picky using a similar mix with this search.
A regular miracle grow type mix will work just fine as well as the one you have chosen.
For fertilizers a miracle grow type water soluble will work as well.....I use off brands with no issues.
The NPK ratios and ingredients are about the same and make no impact with zone 5-6 growing.
Me.....I buy what is on sale (especially end of season/broken bag items) .
I would rethink the high acid levels for your plant and keep the levels lower to neutral for a container plant.
I information that you read will state "slightly above or neutral ph" which seems to be only a suggestion.
With your container plant you should have no worries......unless you're adding something to make the soil more acidic.
