Sold my CPA practice a few years ago so back with a vengence to gardening. Have about 7 banana trees that came with the house. It is now June 26 and I have a bunch on the oldest tree, which first "fruited" back in Oct. Still not ripe. Why this is taking so long is a mystery. Earlier this year I picked a bunch[hand]
that had a few that were starting to turn yellow. Put them in a dark place for weeks. Peeled a few weeks later. They were soft on the outer skin, hard on the inside. Whats up with that. Also I have no idea what variety of banana I have. Can I upload a picture of the current hand.?
