I would wait and see if they damage the plants, and if they do, if the damage is bad enough to have to kill them. This is what we did with the squirrels. Unfortunately, they were found guilty and had to be
I don’t think the snails will be a problem though, as they feed on dead material (I think?) so will only help your plants by breaking down leaves and wood chips or whatever you feed your bananas.
