I'd leave it attached; the fingers in the bunch don't look like they've reached the full size yet. Any way to prop it and attempt to make the p-stem less crimped? This happens to my honohono orchids sometimes, and the crimped area slows / stops the flow of liquid inside the stem, and may cause you to lose that part. Propping it will reduce the damage, but sometimes you still lose it.
