A source once told me a while back that the Saba, and Apple bananas were somewhat resistant, and Gabe said that the Dwarf Apple was in the AAA 'pome' group, and that they should have some resistance to BBTV. He never singled out the Dwarf Apple, specifically, but said the AAA had some resistance. Actually, he told me lots of things, so I might be mis-remembering, but I'm pretty sure that is what was said.

Also, I don't really know for sure that the Dwarf Apple is really a dwarf variant of the actual 'Apple' bananas. Also, if related to the Brazilian or Dwarf Brazilian, do those display any of the 'blood' marks when young? Not any of the Dwarf Apple that I've seen has ever displayed those marks.

The only disease I've ever had in the past was when I noticed one of the pups from my Ae Ae was beginning to show BBTV symptoms. I sprayed it, sprayed it again, and destroyed the mat. Gotta do what you gotta do...

(that was long after I gave you that Ae Ae pup, Gabe, so no worries)
