Default Bent Banana tree stem/leaf.

Hello, I'm new here with a first timers question about the well being of my beautiful banana trees health.

I recently bought a Basjoo Banana Plant.. Upon getting it in the car, my fiance accidentally bent a stem trying to get it in safely. I have been trying to find information on what to do about it. Do you cut it off? If so, how do you go abouts doing that correctly. Or will the stem be okay? I did put the plant in the ground outside because that's what the store owner said you could do and it'll be fine. Some helpful beginners tips would be awesome!

Thanks for your time!
