Question when to dig out?

Hi, this year I will get some musa species, but I don't know when to bring them in for the winter
I have almost a terrible climate , our summer maximums are:
april : 13 c
may: 18 c
June 21 c
July 23 c
August 23 c
Sept. 18 c
Oktober 13 c

I know that nanas won't grow that much here because of the low temperatures.
or winters are mild, I am in a zone 8b/9a but when its cold (for example 3 degrees in night ) it' warms up that same day often not higher than 8 degrees. ( celcius)
For example, can I let a Laterita outside until the first frost or is it better to bring them in when the temperatures falls below the 5 degrees?
i know that some of you overwinter Laterita's, Ornata's and velutinas outside in zone 8.

I hope you all understand the question ( I know, my english is not that good, studying it 1,5 year now...)
