Yes, this is quite common for in the tall Namwahs when there is a source of viable pollen around, sometimes there can be so many it becomes a nuisance. I have heard anecdotally that the dwarfs have more trouble setting seed, but it is not surprising to me you found one. Are there any other varieties nearby that were in the male flower stage when this one is the female stage? Go ahead and plant it right away, don’t let it dry out, the chances of it actually germinating are quite low, but there is always a chance, and if anything comes from it, it would be a new variety.
