Hello, another Newbie here
I visited your website looking for info on dwarf bananas and have been enjoying everything that I read all day. I'm in a small apartment, so dwarfs are all I can handle. I've been growing super dwarf cavendish bananas for about 5 years now, and just popped my head outside today (it's actually sunny here) to buy a zebrina. Its about 2.5 feet tall. It looks a bit sad, two main pseudo stems are thin and only supporting two leaves each. The stems are mottled burgandy, brown, cream. But there are two new suckers, so it should survive my best intentions. Now, if the power company can just keep the electricity on in winter storms we've got it made! (I lost my first super dwarf last year, four years old, in a three day outage, temps fell to 34 deg. F inside), Brrrrrr. Anyway, hello from near Seattle.
