Hey banana people
So earlier this summer I decided I wanted my parent's backyard to look more like the country I just moved back from. Easiest solution: bananas.
We ordered four small plants (they were marketed as "grand nain") and got them settled in some manure. It took a little while for them take but now they are growing well. I had one small hiccup with what I assume were snails but have since put out snail bait. They are in full sun in our Texas heat (average humidity seems to be anywhere from 38%-49%) and I do a slow 40-45 minute water once a day.
Outside of the manure, the soil is pretty much garbage so I fertilize about once every 2 weeks, give or take a few days. Any tips on my current care would be greatly appreciated! Also, don't mind the weeds. Those are gone, but it is a daily struggle.
