Thanks for the photos. Yes I thought it was everything but a Goldfinger. The plant does have a hairy peduncle. I also found an older photo that shows the bunch position in relation to Pseudostem and the revolute bracts.

The male bud shape on my Goldfinger plant looks so different from the FHIA-01 in the Identification Guide. Thanks again for the photos its nice to view all the different Goldfinger flowers. Have you tried the fruit from the different Goldfinger plants? If you have is the flavor the same from each plant?


The plant is green to light green with abundant dark brown blotches.
