Can I continue to add compost or should I begin mulching for winter?

Thanks for any advice/answers.

Answer:.....all banana plants do what you are sayin the do .......down to the last moment of summer.....
Mine do.

Advice:.....awesome keep it up.....compost to the very last moment...
I am assuming that all growth will stop at frost ......correct?

Cool weather will naturally stop and slow down all growth which is normal.

Your plant knows when it is time to say no mas.
