Mine was pretty tasteless. After hearing about them for ages and coveting just a taste, the one I purchased didn't deliver a melon or castor oil flavor but just mushy blah. Decent to add to a smoothie I suspect but I'm not into those. Add in that I prefer under ripe fruit and I'm done with persnickety DF. It was worth $1.79 to test but not worth the effort of growing these fuchsia ones IMO.
