Well, I'd be dumbfounded. Perhaps you will be the only one to know. The only hard freeze that I know around here was during 1991 when temp went down to record of 12 deg F low. Only the California Gold banana sprang back and fruited. The rest sprang back but did not fruit that year. All pseudostems were rotted down to the ground during our deep freeze. Perhaps you'll do better with your winter protection.
