Thanks for the replies. I was hoping it was a real once since the banana varieties here are restricted to a small list and where I bought it from is the only place in the state where I live allowed to distribute them.
Brod I bought it 24/11/12 the bud emerged around 10/5/13 (a week before my first baby boy was borne
). I bought it from a guy reselling them at a market. I suspect he had it for a few months before I bought it. Compared to a TC i ordered directly from tully (pisang ceylon which is also flowering) it was twice as big, in a bigger pot and had a decent amount of roots. Here is a pic of it nov last year. Closest plant with the fresh sugar cane mulch around it.
