I to have the same problem with new plants received a month or so go. I live in south Alabama and the plats have not been through a Winter yet. In 2 days ink black spots appeared on one leaf. At first I thought it was bird droppings but after closer inspection the spots were black all the ay through the leaf and 3rd day had eaten away through leaf. Today I cut the one leaf off and trimmd another that had a couple of small spots. The spots on leaf I cut off were about the size of a golf ball. We have had alot of rain but no other issues with weather that would cause this. Any ideas other than what as mentioned about freezing weather,,we hve HD none of that.
