Default Overwintering Cavendish in Zone 6a

This is my first year growing banana's in a container. my results were great but now I need to figure out what to do over the winter. I do not have a cold basement to store them and do not have south facing windows. i was thinking of removing the mother plant from the pot and wrapping it with burlap. The main plant is about 9' tall and will put it in my unheated attached garage.

The pups will be left in the container and brought inside facing west windows.

Any advice would be grateful. I have a picture of the plant in my gallery
