Unfortunately none of my three bunches on three separate mats did anything. They just whithered away. The mat is very healthy and has even produced another P-stem with leaves and a bloom but it only has twelve bananas. In my case the answer is a resounding NO The mat can not support fruit on a P-stem with out leaves.
