I'll count myself in here! I've always referred to it as a passion for plants, but some may rightly see it as an addiction. I'm not too specific in terms of what I plant, other than a tendency toward the collecting of the odd, rare, and exotic. I generally like the challenge of growing plants that are a zone or two tender for my area, just to keep it interesting! I have a Brown Turkey fig as well, and this will also be it's 2nd full summer in the yard. I tasted one fresh locally grown fig and I was hooked. I can't wait to try the fruit off of my own tree, even better if it were this summer! If this is an addiction, then I'm addicted...but it's pretty harmless. Except on the wallet! Happy planting!
