The main difference is where the plants occur naturally. 'Manipur' grows in the Manipur region of India, naturally. Musa sikkimensis has a rather wide distribution, but some populations have become quite isolated from others. Personally, I don't think there is a huge difference in the many varieties of M. sikkimensis. Why don't you grow them all side by side for a few years and then tell us?
